Healthy Sexuality

A healthy sexuality is integral to our general health and well being, and is acknowledged as such by the World Health Organisation (WHO). A healthy sexuality can impact upon unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, relationships and sexual morbidity.

For most British young people, the media plays a huge part in the construction of their sexuality. The concept of healthy sexuality can easily be integrated into Sex & Relationships Education, this takes us beyond the biological approach and into the remit of feelings and sense of self.

Our training enables workers to promote a healthy sexuality with their clients by providing knowledge and skills to support the development of a healthy sexuality that is age appropriate, responsible and respectful.
